Obverse: Block style 8; 7 right of center under curl; double forehead curl.
Reverse: Small berry among the leaves; eagle does not have a tongue; 5 is 40% under arrow feather; D is 85% under branch.

Variety occurs as a proof issue (Smithsonian collection; their specimen is this variety and is not a unique die-pairing as reported). Breen notes this lone example.
